Anders J. Bjarngard, P.E. of GZA and Edward Hughes of MA DCR's Office of Dam Safety will be presenting a paper entitled "Thirteen Bad Apples and What Massachusetts is Doing with Them" which focuses on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' recent enforcement actions dealing with Unsafe Dams. Peter J. Baril, P.E. of GZA and Tiffany Tran of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) will be presenting a paper entitled "More Capacity Please! Improvements to Boston's Historic Wachusett Reservoir Dam". The presentation highlights the recent design and remedial construction of a new automated crest gate at the spillway to Wachusett Dam.
