Dewatering systems are often an important component of a project design. As urban redevelopment and transit projects increasingly rely on the use of underground space, depressing the water table and preventing groundwater from entering an excavation is essential in ensuring safety and proving a dry environment to complete work.
GZA provides a variety of dewatering services ranging from hydrogeologic modeling to pump testing. We use these tools to aid designs for recharges systems, cut-off walls, grouting systems, and permanent underdrains.
