GZA's Wastewater Division offers facilities a full-service approach to sewer use permitting and compliance issues. Our sampling team and project management staff have developed a sampling and communication protocol of checks and balances to ensure that sampling and reporting deadlines are met and clients' needs are addressed in a timely manner.
 
The division offers not only monitoring but consulting services to industries that are permitted to discharge process and post-treatment waste streams to the sewer and /or to the environment directly. We currently have over 60 clients we offer these services to which include major hospitals, educational facilities and private and commercial businesses.

Our focus is maintaining clients’ compliance with sewer discharge requirements. And, we can completely manage their permits from sampling through regulatory reporting and violation notification, if applicable.

GZA has developed a solid relationship with sewer discharge authorities and has formed professional alliances with our colleagues in order to best represent our clients and protect their legal rights and interests.

We have our own dedicated laboratory facility that is certified in Massachusetts and is accredited by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Congress (NELAC) for the analysis of wastewater parameters.
